In this section, you will find Growing the Reproductive Justice Movement: A Toolkit for Funders, by Vanessa Daniel, Program Advisor, the Tides Foundation, and member of the Women of Color Working Group of Funders for Reproductive Equity. The document is designed as a companion piece to the toolkit and answers some of the questions funders often ask about reproductive justice and Women of Color-led organizations. It also provides case studies that demonstrate successes of this work. The case studies in particular show that Women of Color-led, reproductive justice organizations are winning important victories and transforming the reproductive rights landscape at the local, state and national levels. This section also contains “Understanding the Connections,” a diagram developed by Elsa A. Ríos, Strategies for Social Change, that shows Reproductive Justice as a movement that makes the interconnections between multiple issues facing Women of Color.
